NEEDLEWORK and HANDICRAFT 2025

Entries close Monday 10 March 2025 with Secretary PO Box 91 Oakey 4401.

  1. All exhibits in this section must be delivered to the Stewards at the Main Entry Door of the pavilion before 9am on Thursday 13 March 2025 with entry form and entry fee.

Judging at 10am Thursday 13 March 2025.  No late entries accepted.

 

Exhibits may be removed after 4.00 pm on Saturday 15 March 2025.  Exhibits may be left at the Secretary's office prior to the Show.  Please attach Entry Label where possible with a safety pin.  All awards to be made at the discretion of the Judge.  Articles must have been made by exhibitor and not previously shown at an Oakey Show.

ENTRY FEE: $1 in all sections

PRIZE MONEY: First $5;    Second $3

Grand Champion Needlework Exhibit of Show donated by QCWA Oakey Branch.  A Trophy donated by The Oakey Pharmacy will be awarded to the exhibitor gaining the highest number of points. Champion exhibit classes 3401-3410; 3411-3423; 3430-3436; 3437-3450 sponsored by Kevin & Norma Byers. Champion Handcraft Exhibit: Classes 3424-3429 and exhibitor  with the highest number of points in the Senior Sections sponsored by Geoff & Dianah Ray. RECYCLED CREATIONS

This section is proudly sponsored by Oakey AP & R Society Inc.

Recycled is defined as  the process of converting waste or discarded materials

into new articles, often in another form.  Articles may be soft or hard in texture,

but does not include any type of perishable materials. 

ENTRY FEE: $2 per entry.
